This website is deliberately simple. It uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics tools. Third-party content is only loaded when you explicitly start it with a click (see "Videos from Vimeo and YouTube"). Fonts are served from this server, not from Google or any other provider.

Hosting and server log files
When you visit this website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data that your browser transmits automatically: IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This data is used solely to deliver the website and to keep it secure and stable. It is not combined with other data and is deleted after a short period.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is the secure and error-free operation of this website. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

If you send me an email, I process your details in order to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Your data is deleted once your request has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
Audio
The music track on the home page is played directly from this server, and only when you start it. No data is transmitted to third parties.
Videos from Vimeo and YouTube
On this website you can watch videos hosted on Vimeo or YouTube. The providers are Vimeo.com, Inc., 330 West 34th Street, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10001, USA, and Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (for YouTube).
No connection to these services is established when you open the page. The player is only loaded once you click "Play video". Your IP address, the date and time and the page you are visiting are then transmitted to the provider, possibly including servers in the USA. Vimeo videos are embedded with the "dnt" (Do Not Track) parameter, YouTube videos via the privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). According to the providers, no tracking cookies are set as long as you do not interact with the player or, for YouTube, are not logged in.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG, which you give by clicking. Consent applies to that single playback only. More information: vimeo.com/privacy and policies.google.com/privacy.
